which has now been removed. This was the result of another change

necessity for the posts sidebar slideshow to show up until we get
a chance to find out why it is not being properly initialized.

the /news page. Also changed sidebar styles to act more like the
existing sidebar widget sections.

Entered some checks to make sure member pages only try to display
images if they have an image, and that posts display the featured
