testing centering slideshow text withouth css animations

I am making slow progress

I made it to the point to move on from the header area and I am working
on the main area and content.  I am currently fighting with the
slideshow caption bits.

trying to get the header to match

I am in the slow process of getting the header I made to match the
header in the psd.

I have the search area under control

I just got the tab area in the header to not be covered by the top bar
div.  It took me long enough.

I'm close to having the header area handled

I have worked and almost drove myself crazy trying to fix a problem was
having with the the top bar.  I still have to insure the top bar and the
top bar section are in the same place when I have the shop search bar
float left.

making styling changes

I am working on the styles for the header elements.  I also did some
styling to the slideshow and relocated it in the front page layout.

I made some more changes.

I added the wood background to the slideshow and did some experimenting
iwth the top bar seciton.  I also started to style some bits of the
site.

Trying to wrap my head around the header.

I am slowly trying to wrap my head around the layout of the header area.

small setup start

I have a start on getting things organized for the theme.  I am working
on the header right now.
