fixing issues with the action items and changing the header area

The equalizer wasn't working and I restored an placeholder image for the
bridge cam.  The header area I added more spacing to give a bit breathing
room for the logo and headers.

I made changes to the styles and added the right images for action items

I changed the styles of some of the items in the settings.scss, header
font changes, and did some minor spacing changes to the header.

I removed some of the old images Jodie provided and added the new images
Collins made to take their place and am beginning to parts of the site for
design purposes.

post review changes to blocks and main

I added some spacing to the bottom of the content area so the spacing
matches the top.  I did a bit of styling with the 'Read more' anchor so it
shows up next to the block text.  There are two other items that could use
some changes, but we need Designer approval before we proceed.

final adjustments to the header

I re-arranged some parts of the header so that it can work propperly on
small view.  It may look wierd at first, but it works perfectly when we
get to the smallest of screens we support.

made adjustments to the header

I removed the sticky effect from small and medium view and I made some
changes to the header area.  I changed the header area grid layout so the
logo and text would share the space better.  Also made it so the tagline
will wrap instead of get cut off.

making more minior adjustments

I did the changes to the sidebar as requested.  I moved the breadcrumbs to
be over only the content, also changed the colors of the links in the
footer to be more legable.  The color wanted originally was difficult to
read against the dark blue background.

fixing the blocks

I fixed the width issue for the blocks area by containing the background
image.

making adjustments to the topbar nav and header

I made a few changes to the dropdown nav and some positioning of the logo.
The logo is now to the side and made some spacing adjustments for the
dropdown.

adding new screenshot

I made a new screenshot for Mackinac Bridge and had it replace the France
Journeys one that was there to begin with.

Making changes to the topbar and footer

I made some changes to the topbar and the footer.  I replaced the social
icons with an image tag with alternitive text of 'graphic here' more or
less.  I also changed the alternitive text for the footer image to
'Michigan Department of Trasportation".  In terms of topbar changes, I
made the anchor normal instead of bold.

tweaks for responsive and aiding dropdown appearance

I began responsive tests and I found out I had to do some styling changes
to make things work.  I edited the styles of the blocks so they do not
need the data equalizer.  Did some work with the dropdown menu so it could
look presentable.  I adjusted the padding for the li so long titled items
hopefully don't go to the right.

Finishing up styles.

I think I am almost finished with the styles for large view.  It seems
good on that front to me.  I did some styling with the interior page to
trying to make things work right.

Mass styling

I'm doing alot of styling for the front page and interior page.  I added
the sidebar with the action items at the bottome of the sidebar.

Working on styles

I'm working on getting the styles to match what has been requested.  I'm
doing quite a bit of work in the main.scss file.

Continuing layout work

I am almost wrapped up with the front page.  I added a placeholder for the
bridge cam and added the equalizer watch to the containers of the action
items.  Also made changes to the colors of some things.

I have been trying to make the data equalizer work for the action items
and the blocks.  So far the blocks are the only one that are working.

I did a bit more styling to the action items by adding display features
and some text-decorations.

more header work

I did some more work with the header area.  I added something from a
sellable theme I made that allows us to change the site name, tagline, and
logo image at anytime with need for a hotfix.

styles and header

I have been doing quite a bit of work on the color styles and working on
the header layout.  The original logo is too big for our intended 100px
header area.

making changes

I added a new partial called action-items.php and did rearranging of the
frontpage.php.  I added a style category for the action items in the
main.scss.  I had to do some changes to the dropdown menu, the spacing was
ridiculaous.

making changes and adding images

I added images that will be used into the assets folder and removed some
that wouldn't be used.  Also did changes to the layout and in the process
of restyling the blocks.

adjusting styles and taking out some things

I adjusted the blocks to work like the St. Marie site and commented out
the styles that applied to the block content for the moment.  Lastly I
took out what I felt was uneeded images from the assets folder.

I did some adjustments to the block layout, but still need to do style
changes.
