updating repeating pattern and working on the front

I asked Collins to make a darker version of the repeating pattern
because I couldn't see it very well on my monitor.  I am begining to
work on the front page layout and styles.

I added some style work to the header

I am working on the header of the pages.  I have it mostly styled the
way we want it.

more stylesing and slight structure work

I have done the last of the base styling for the overall theme.  I have
just started layout work on the header area.

more base styles

I did some of the styling for the image captions and I did some more
work on the settings.scss.

I added graphics and favicon

I added the assets, favicon, and did more style changes in
settings.scss.

I added the starting styles (the color codes)

I added the color codes for the theme.  I haven't started any layout
work yet.
