sidebar is almost complete.

I have done further work on the sidebar styles and I am running into
problems with the sprites that Collins saved.  The shadows and borders are
included in the sprite which is causing trouble.

finishing up sidebar

I think I can say I'm finishing up the sidebar.  It could use some more
styling, but I'll get back to it.

working on the front page

I am making some progress on the front page.  The slideshow is in place
and I have some place holder items for the sidebar.  The rest of the front
page still needs to be done.

file format change and minor changes to the header

I changed the file format of everything to LF.  I also did some changes to
the layout and some styles in the header.

Wrapping up header area with the search

I think I am wrapping up the last thing in the header area.  The search in
the header seems to be to an acceptable state for now.  I need to get to
the other areas now.

making average progress on header.php

I am making slow to average progress on the header.  I still need to fix
the issue of the search.

header update

I started to make a search field.  I need to add the magnifying glass.

header development and styling in general.

I am in the progress of creating and styling the header.  I think I have
the layout, but I need to style it and get the search field into the
header.

Styling in settings.scss

I did some styling variables in the settings.scss file and added the
favicon.  Miniscule start at best.

adding assets and starting breakout

I added the elements from the psd folder and placed them into the assets
folder as well as do some starting layout with modifying the settings
file.

I just compiled everything for the first time.  I forgot to do it before
the first commit.
